Jennifer Turnbough

Jen Turnbough (she/her/hers) has been a staff member at Bloomsburg University since October of 2011. Jen previously worked in the Office of Residence Life as an Assistant Director of Residential Education & Community Living in the upper campus apartment area before becoming the Senior Associate Dean of Students in January of 2022. Prior to coming to Bloomsburg, Jen worked at St. Mary’s College of Maryland as the Coordinator of SGA Clubs and Organization as well as at Salisbury University as the Assistant Director of Assignments and Data Management and as a Hall Director for Apartment Living.

As the Senior Associate Dean of Students for Student Support, Leadership and Retention Initiatives, Jen supports students with a wide variety of non-conduct related issues that impact their wholistic progress at the university. Whether a student is experiencing health issues, a family emergency, food & housing insecurities, adjustment issues, needs help navigating local or campus resources, or a student is just feeling overwhelmed and doesn’t know where to start, Jen is willing to assist. Jen will work with students to connect with appropriate resources while encouraging and empowering students to address obstacles with confidence.
