Justin Ossont

Justin is the Assistant Director for Career and Professional Development at Commonwealth University-Bloomsburg. He is the liaison to the College of Arts, Social Sciences and Humanities, specifically focused on the majors of Sociology, Anthropology, Criminal Justice, History, Philosophy, Political Science, and Psychology.  He provides major and career exploration, 1:1 career coaching, interview prep, resume/cover letter review, career closet, and job/internship search help. 

Previously, Justin worked in the world of enrollment management for seven years at his Alma Mater Lycoming College, Williamsport, PA. He served as the Senior Assistant Director of Admissions working with students through the college search process. His primary recruitment territory included the state of New Jersey, transfer students, and non-degree seeking students. He was also the athletics liaison between the Admissions and Athletics office.

Justin earned his Bachelor of Arts Degree in Corporate Communications from Lycoming in May of 2013. He is currently enrolled to earn a Master of Science Degree in Higher Education Administration from Southern New Hampshire University.

Justin resides in Danville, PA with his wife, daughter, and puppy, Sophie. Outside of work he is an avid sports fan of the Tennessee Titans, F1 racing, and his biggest passion of being a sports fan, the Pittsburgh Penguins. He also enjoys vacationing with his family and trips to 1000 Islands in upstate New York.
