Haile teaches the graduate classes Clinical Exercise Physiology, Exercise Nutrition and Metabolism, and Electrocardiogram Interpretation and Exercise Testing. He teaches the undergraduate classes Exercise Physiology, Clinical Exercise Physiology, Electrocardiogram Interpretation and Exercise Testing, First Aid and Safety, and Exercise and You. His research interests focus on the measurement of perception and emotion during exercise, their link with cardiovascular and metabolic measures, their use for exercise prescription, and their relation to exercise adherence and the achievement of health-fitness benefits.
