A highly collaborative practitioner, Lynda Fedor Michaels, Ed.D., has over 32 years of professional experience in higher education in Student Affairs and Residence Life; New Student Orientation, First Year Experience and Student Transition; Enrollment Management; University Advancement and Alumni Engagement; Career Development;  Experiential Education;  Employer Relations; Board and Volunteer Management; and Strategic Planning. Lynda’s passion is building and sustaining mission focused and values driven organizations, programs, and teams. Utilizing a holistic approach and transformational leadership framework, Lynda leads with enthusiasm and an unwavering commitment to shared values with flexibility in understanding and responding to University culture, events as well as internal and external stakeholders to grow and shape future success. Currently serving as Assistant Vice President for Alumni and Professional Engagement at Bloomsburg University, Lynda leads an amazing team in career and professional development, alumni engagement and employer relations.

Lynda is a two-time Bloomsburg University alumna, earning a Bachelor of Science in Education in 1987 and Master of Education in 1988. In 2018, Lynda earned a Doctorate in Higher Education Leadership from Immaculata University. Her doctoral research focused on the impact of presidential leadership on fundraising in public higher education.

Lynda enjoys travel, reading, volunteering in her community and spending time with family. Lynda is currently working toward becoming a certified wine specialist as studying wine varietals and wine regions is her favorite hobby.  Originally from Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania, Lynda currently resides in Bloomsburg.
