Matt Haney enters his seventh season as the head coach of the Bloomsburg University women's soccer team in 2021. Haney has led the Huskies to back-to-back Atlantic Region championships and two straight trips to the NCAA national tournament quarterfinals. The Huskies also qualified for the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) tournament for the fifth straight year, advancing to the quarterfinals. Haney and his staff were honored by the United Soccer Coaches as the Atlantic Region Staff of the Year twice, following the 2019 and 2018 season.
Under his guidance, five student-athletes have been named to All-America teams by various organizations. Haney has made the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference tournament every year as the head coach and has a 64-26-10 overall record with the Huskies.
