Dr. Yue is a professor in the Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders (CSD) at Bloomsburg University. He is certified in Intraoperative Neurophysiological Monitoring (IONM). His academic interests include intraoperative neurophysiological monitoring, clinical neurophysiology/neuroanatomy, neuro-otology, biomedical basis of pharmacology, developmental, molecular/cellular, and genetic basis of neurological disorders. He received medical degree from China and Ph.D. from UCLA. He was trained as a neurologist/neuroscientist and had conducted postdoctoral researches at University of Zurich, UCLA, and the Eli Lilly and Company. He has taught graduate and undergraduate levels of anatomy/neuroanatomy, basic and clinical neurophysiology, and intraoperative neuromonitoring (IONM) courses for the CSD students. His publications cover the areas of IONM, clinical neurophysiology, neurotology, neurology, molecular and medical genetics, and developmental neurobiology. As the IONM program coordinator, he played major role in gaining accreditation for IONM education from the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP). He also serves on a number of departmental committees.
