Subhadra was engaged with the training and continuing development of financial sector employees of the Kingdom of Bahrain at the Bahrain Institute of Banking during 2004-14. She moved to academia during 2014-2018 as an Associate Professor of Economics in the Department of Accounting and Economics in the College of Business and Finance in Ahlia University. She relocated to USA in 2018 and has worked with Seton Hall University as adjunct professor, The College of New Jersey as Visiting faculty, Part Time Lecture in the Economics department of Rutgers University at New Brunswick campus. She has joined Bloomsburg University as an instructor in the Department of Economics since Fall 2020.
