Be Respectful

  • Participate appropriately in class activities and discussions.
  • Be polite to your peers and instructors (i.e., criticize ideas, not people).
  • Pay attention to the instructor and engage in learning tasks.

Be Responsible

  • Complete all assigned tasks by their due dates. (Due dates are not flexible.) If you are unsure how to complete an assignment, promptly discuss it with your instructor to ensure timely completion.
  • Have all required materials (e.g., pencils, pens, paper, binders, etc.) and completed homework for each class.
  • Use cell phones and other electronic devices only as approved by instructor.
  • Use all resources available (tutors, instructors’ office hours, Andruss Library, Ben Franklin study/computer lab, study groups, STEM Magnet Program director, etc.).

Be Here/Be Ready

  • Be on time for and attend all classes.
  • Be ready to learn when you have entered the classroom.
  • Go to your instructors or the STEM Magnet Program director when you are having difficulties.
