Student Technology Support

The Latest

  • We only offer wired connectivity in residence halls and apartments upon demand, so you should plan to connect wirelessly. If your computer does not have a wireless network adapter, we recommend that you purchase one prior to arriving on campus. Any student requiring wired connectivity may submit a "Wired Network Connection Request" at a cost through the Office of Residence Life.
  • After arriving on campus, simply connect to the bloomu wireless network to initiate the web-based registration process for internet access.
  • The registration system supports a wide variety of Windows anti-virus programs. If you are running Windows 8 or Windows 10 and do not have any anti-virus software installed, we recommend activating Windows Defender.
  • You must enroll/register your gaming and media devices to use them on our network.
  • Microsoft Office software is now available to students free of charge for personal use on up to five devices. Check the Software Purchasing Info page for installation instructions as well as other discounts available to you.
  • Office Web Apps and OneDrive are now available through your Office365 student email account webmail.
