ETS Testing

WHO TAKES THE ETS PROFICIENCY PROFILE

ALL incoming Freshmen and Transfer students are required to take the ETS Proficiency Profile Test
which is only administered at Bloomsburg University. All Seniors are requested to take it before graduation. This is a timed 40 minute test.

ABOUT THE ETS PROFICIENCY PROFILE

This assessment is administered annually to meet the university’s accreditation
requirements, as well as to provide feedback to campus departments and the
university, which will help improve course and program offerings for future BU
students.

IDENTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

You may be asked to provide one form of current/unexpired identification
(driver’s license, passport, or college ID card) to be admitted to the Test Center.

STUDENTS WITH DOCUMENTED ACCOMMODATIONS

Students requiring extended time or other accommodations and have documentation,
must contact the Center for Students with Disabilities, ltomash2@bloomu.edu, and alternate arrangements will be made.

BEFORE YOU REGISTER

Please make sure you do not have any classes or other scheduled commitment(s), such as concerts,
sporting events, or family gatherings that may conflict with the test date and time you select.
This is to ensure efficient test scheduling. Upon registration you will receive an email confirmation
via your BU email address with your scheduled test date, time, and Bloomsburg University testing location.
