Kathy Heitzman is Bloomsburg’s Associate Athletics Director and Senior Woman Administrator.
 
As the first full-time director of compliance, Kathy has implemented monitoring systems, rules education programs, and standardized all eligibility determinations.  She assists with the overall direction of the athletics department.
 
She is active within the campus community as well, serving on various committees including:  The University-Wide Promotion Committee (UWPC), the Strategic Planning and Resource Council (SPARC), Title IX Committee, and the Campus Clery Committee.  Kathy has served on and chaired several search committees, both in the athletics department and in other areas of the university including the head football coach, head women’s basketball coach, assistant wrestling coach, the Women’s Center Director, and the Vice-Presidents of both Student Affairs and University Advancement.

Heitzman earned her bachelor’s degree at the University of Redlands (California), her master’s at Canisius College (New York), and her law degree at Marquette University (Wisconsin).
