Ayana Bennett '10 has worked in the Health and Wellness field for roughly 10yrs beginning as a personal trainer, and currently manages the health and wellness of an entire hospital team by providing the resources, support, and guidance to assist employees in staying well within themselves. This includes decreasing burnout and helping employees maintain their mental, spiritual, financial, and physical health.
In addition to being on the BUAA Board of Directors, Bennett is the Chair of the Advisory Board at her local YMCA, and assists with programs that provide inner city youth with opportunities to learn about entrepreneurship or learn a useful skill such as swimming. In her free time, Bennett spends time at the YMCA with her son, enjoys reading books, and encourages students to enroll at Bloomsburg University and/or stay engaged with their alma mater.
