Cassie Bennett, assistant professor of Accounting, has been a BU faculty member since 2014. Her research interests include managerial accounting, specifically budgeting and cost accounting, data security, and blockchain. Before entering the academic realm, Dr. Bennett spent several years as a practicing CPA. She worked five years in the public accounting industry at ParenteBeard, LLC (now Baker Tilley) and three years as a financial analyst for SPX Thermal Product Solutions, a Fortune 500 company. Prior to joining Bloomsburg University, she was the budget manager for Lock Haven University.
