PRP 5455 - Removal of Property from Campus

Issued by: Robert J. Parrish, V.P. for Administration
Effective Date: 02/14/83

Procedures

Equipment and other tangible property owned by the institution is generally intended to be used in support of the instructional and research missions carried out on the campus. However, it must be recognized that many off-campus duties justify the temporary removal of equipment from the traditional office and classroom settings.

As off-campus activities increase, it becomes necessary to establish better control over property. Property is not to be taken from campus unless a removal form is submitted, approved by the supervisor and filed with the appropriate vice president.

The Property Removal Form is available upon request from the College Storeroom.
