13th Annual Dance Minor Concert: When Movement Satiates

Grab a sack lunch or coffee and join us on the fountain end of the Academic Quad to enjoy the 13th Annual Dance Minor Concert: When Movement Satiates will feature five original dance pieces, themes will range from moving on from old relationships and life obstacles to abstract movement works. Featured music will include classical baroque, Brazilian, chant music, and the jazz stylings of Frank Sinatra and the Aranbee Pop Symphony Orchestra. Choreography for the concert is created by New York-based artist, Dr. Marija Krtolica, dance minor alums Emel Rasim and Emma Sperr, current students Cyal Nelson and Britney Deputy, and Professor Julie Petry.
The performance will take place on Monday, April 29th at 1:30 pm. In case of rain, the performance will be delayed to Wednesday, May 1st, 2024. Audience members are welcome to sit in one of the audience chairs provided or to simply stroll by.
