Isakson & Roe Requirements

Effective August 1, 2021, Section 1018 of Johnny Isakson and David P. Roe, MD, Veterans Health Care and Benefits Improvement Act of 2020 requires institutions that participate in the educational assistance programs of the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) to provide additional disclosures for veterans approved for aid from the GI Bill.

BU Financial Aid Shopping Sheet

BU’s Shopping Sheet information can be found in MyHusky. After logging into MyHusky, select the “View Financial Aid” link under the Finances section, then select the appropriate Aid Year (which would be the most recent year). Students will be able to compare financial aid information offered from other colleges or universities to help make an informed decision on where to attend school.

Consumer Finance Protection Bureau

A useful tool for incoming students can be found at the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau's Paying for College. This resource provides detailed financial information on higher education institutions and students can enter individualized information to better calculate according to their circumstances.

The College Scorecard is another resource for students to compare colleges, their fields of study, costs, admissions, results, and more.
