English Faculty, Students Present at Conference

Faculty and students from the Bloomsburg and Mansfield campuses of Commonwealth University participated in the English Association of Pennsylvania State Universities (EAPSU) Conference held October 13 to 15, in Kutztown.  

Cassandra O’Sullivan Sachar, Bloomsburg, moderated the Fiction panel and read her short story, “I’ll Sleep Tomorrow.” Brad Lint, Mansfield, presented his paper, “’Talkin’ ’bout My Generation’: GenAI, Composition, and Literature,” Lynn Pifer, Mansfield, presented  “Our Missing Texts: Celeste Ng’s Depiction of the Consequences of Anti-Woke Hysteria,” and Mansfield student, Taya-Reese Johnson, delivered her paper, “My Father’s Keeper: The Commonality of Familial Dysfunction in Your Blues Ain’t Like Mine.”  

The following outstanding English majors were also honored: Abigail Crenti, Bloomsburg, Gabrielle Orcutt, Mansfield, and Alexis Mayo, Lock Haven.
