Your journey upward awaits

  • Our program provides excellent preparation for law school. Students can take advantage of the many resources at the Diehl Center for Law, combine political science with other high impact programs such as our popular minor in legal studies, and take a number of law-related courses within political science, including constitutional law, international law, and the judicial process.
  • Small classes (35 to 50 intro courses and 12 to 24 in upper-level electives) promote substantial individual interaction with professors who are responsible for all aspects of the program from course instruction to advising.
  • We prioritize building skills, knowledge, and experience in the field through professional internships and individual research projects under close faculty supervision and, for select students, in conjunction with the Honors College.
