Research Experiences
Conducting research helps prepare for graduate school, as well as entering the workforce with added marketability. You’re able to pursue your interests, hone your problem-solving skills, and challenge yourself in new ways. Research reminds you to keep an open mind and be ready to absorb, process, and analyze new information. You learn about more than just your focus research topic; you learn time management skills, patience, quick thinking, communication skills, persistence, and the ability to adjust and work through unforeseen events and outcomes.
