Start Your Climb
We want to make your transition to college life success, so let's start your climb on the right foot.
Welcome home, Husky!
We’re excited to have you join the Residence Life Community and look forward to enhancing your academic and personal goals with comfortable and enjoyable housing. Your new home is ready for you and is filled with great opportunities to meet and learn about others around you. The success and satisfaction of your living environment is all about what you make it and is a great way to start building life-long friendships.
Spring 2023 housing and roommate assignments are available now on the home page of MyHousing Self-Service. Check your assignment and if you are assigned a roommate(s), contact them to discuss living arrangements and any items you may want to share while living together.
Continue to check MyHousing between now and the start of the semester as we sometimes find out, after assignments are posted, that your assigned roommate will not be attending Bloomsburg University. You will not receive notification of any change via email or phone. If your housing assignment changes at any time prior to or throughout the semester, there may be adjustments in your room rate which will be reflected in MyHusky within a few days. Please be advised, we will not make roommate changes based on information or pictures found on social networking sites.
Apartment and Soltz Hall students, when checking your assignment on MyHousing, the bed number shown is the bedroom to which you will be given ID access.
If you are not returning to Bloomsburg University you must submit a housing release request form to cancel your on-campus housing or you will be held responsible for the cost of your housing for the semester. You will not be released until you receive a confirmation reply from this office. Students are not approved to be released from their housing agreement to live off-campus. Please note, students who wish to live at their permanent home address to commute, will be released from their housing contact only upon verification in MyHusky of distance from your home to campus within 50 miles.
If you have any questions or concerns, please contact us at buhouse@bloomu.edu.
